In the article titled, “Assessment of left ventricular functions and its correlation to the severity of liver cirrhosis caused by hepatitis C virus by different echocardiography modalities (two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography study)”, published on pages 154-162, Issue 2, Volume 17 of Al-Azhar Assiut Medical Journal [1], the affiliations of the authors Asmaa Ahmed Ali Hassana, Nessren Mohamed Bahaa Eldenb had been inadvertently incomplete. Hence, now the correct author affiliations should read as aLecturer of Cardiology, El-Zahraa University Hospital, Faculty of Medicine for girls, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt, bLecturer of Tropical Medicine, El-Zahraa University Hospital, Faculty of Medicine for girls, Al-Azhar University, Cairo, Egypt.
